I truly love this time of year. It was always a time for the family to get together and enjoy each others company.

Yesterday evening I went to a Thanksgiving service - something I had never been to before. It opened my eyes to all of the wonderful things in my life that I have to be thankful for:

• God and his Grace
  
• friends
• family
• my animals

Until yesterday, I did not realize the significance of the holiday - we are given this opportunity to give thanks for our lives and those around us. Something more to think about!
