I've always been a fan of Science Fiction - books as well as movies. I prefer the classics - not a lot of blood and gore. And, in some cases not much on plot.

Now, they have re-made "Day the Earth Stood Still." I have absolutely no idea why. The original Pat Neal version was perfect. You could not have had a better SF film.

I met and worked for Pat years ago. She's quite a lady. Haven't seen her in years. I do remember asking her about the film though.
