I've been doing genealogy research for ages. With the Murphy family, it's pretty easy. They did move around alot but did not change their names at all.

My mother's family was a bit different. I do have a photograph on my website of my mother's family. Much to my dismay the people listed in the photo are not named with their last name. I only have their first name.

My great grandmother is sitting in her father's lap. She was quite the character. She changed her name as often as she changed residences.

Somewhere in all that she met Jesse Sherwin. I do remember him though he died in the early 1960s. He wore woman's garters around his for arms as was the fashion when he was young. He also lost an eye in a shoot accident when he was a child.I can find out some genealogy information out about him and his family. But there is a mystery around his relationship with Florence Evans.

Florence Evans lived with Jesse in his house in Parkman, OH. I'm not even sure if they were married. My guess is probably not.

And, as for Florence Evans, that probably wasn't her real name. Her birth name was Flossie. Her family was from Slippery Rock, PA. Anyone have any idea who she really was? I would really love to have a last name for her.
