I have been a long time blogger about black walnuts.In my previous blog, there were 4 posts about my adventures with the black walnut tree in my back yard. I got about a bushel of the nuts off of the tree this last autumn.

A bit of an update... I have a few of them left. As they age they are getting a bit easier to crack. Or I have the knack for it. Not sure which. I am now able to get them out in 4 pieces with a hammer.
