I do not know who's in charge at Citi Bank but why in the world would the corporation buy a new jet? They just got bailout monies from the government.

The news reports that the jet will be paid for by selling older jets that Citi Bank owns. Why not sell the old jets and use the money for operating expenses? Their administrators can fly commerically cheaper than what flying the private jet would be.

Makes you wonder where all of our bail out money is going to across the board. AIG partied. Citi Bank gets a new jet. Who else?
