I watched with interest last night's news conference. I am not so sure the stimulus package is going to work though I am not set against it. I believe the government must do something. Hopefully, this is it.

Whatever happens the outcomes will be long term. For example, unemployment is not necessarily the bad part. What is bad is the aftermath of trying to get all those piled up bills paid once you find work again. It's not easy and it's not pretty.

What will be worse then the stimulus package passing is if it doesn't pass. Imagine what the stock market will be the next day if that happens.

One side comment - who was that reporter that wasted his question about steroids and A-Rod? I think the world has bigger concerns that if some athlete took a banned substance. A-Rod is a disappointment, yes. But my concerns are my job and my bills.
