I have been remiss
I have been remiss in posting to the blog because I finally replaced the computer that died in December.
This has been a bit more entertaining than I thought it would be.
The larger the hard drives the more time it takes to move things - especially when the old hard drive is in an older box that does not have usb2. Moving the photographs took 2 days. My music took 1 day. The websites I mother over took another day. The move is not finished yet but at least I got the most important stuff off.
The iPod was a challenge because some of the music I bought from iTunes said that I was not authorized to play them. My music was either purchased or digitized from LPs. The old LP music went in just fine; it was older iTunes stuff that did not.
Oh well, there will be glitches as I move onto the new computer.
